One of my favourite TV performances from the group here In performance on German TV with a ‘cold ending’ “The Day Before You Came” was the last song the group ever recorded together in the studio. Released as a single in Oct. ’82 It was recorded and mixed on August 20, 1982, with the working title of “Den Lidande Fågeln” (The Suffering Bird). Apart from Fältskog’s lead vocal and an operatic solo vocal line of Lyngstad mixed with the instrumental, the only instruments featured on the song were Andersson’s synthesizer and drum machine, Ulvaeus’ acoustic guitar and a snare drum by Åke Sundqvist. The song minutely details the story of a lonely woman’s mundane life right before she met her loved one, blended with a sombre, haunting melody. This year was a very special Sonar for mobilee and one that will not be easily forgotten! In celebration of ‘Hi Five! mobilee’ we hosted a four day extravaganza of parties lasting the whole week, including the label showcase at City Hall, a party out at sea on the mobilee boat and also, in keeping with tradition, our parties on the rooftop of the Hotel Diagonal in conjunction with guest labels Diynamic and Supplement Facts and in cooperation with Resident Advisor and AKG. It’s certainly taken us a while to recover, but it was 100% worth it.

I had a problem with a section of my lights being too long. So I figured out how to shorten them! I hope this helps anyone with my problem. I had the basic double connectible string lights with the 3rd circuit to keep the lights on when one burns out. If you do this, make sure your lights are NOT plugged in when you start, and you also ensure that the connections you make are tight and sealed with some kind of electrical tape or sealer. DO NOT JUST USE ELECTRICAL TAPE! There are better options than wire nuts for this application but they are all I have at this time. I am going to tackle my icicles now! Merry Christmas!
